MODUL 9 - Doing foreign language ON TOUR
Our trip started after the lessons at 15:30 pm on Wednesday. But actually, things concerning the trip had started much earlier: we planned and prepared everything for the trip together during our classes in the weeks before. We discussed about the food (and the amounts of it) and the activities and the schedule (for example about when to get up and have breakfast). We managed to find solutions for all the issues which were suitable for everyone in the group.
Right, so we started on Wednesday afternoon. We went to St Peter by bus. From the bus station we walked about 30 minutes to the hut in the forest. While walking to the house we herd and sang to music. When we arrived, we first of all went to our rooms. They were beautiful! We left our baggage in the rooms and prepared everything for the night.
Then we went downstairs and started making cookies and cinnamon rolls together. Of course, we also ate some of them. When we finished, we already had to prepare dinner. We all had burgers and wraps, it was really delicious. It got late fast but we still wanted to play some games like werewolf together (Michi and Flora always died right away) – it was really funny. After having finished several games, we got ready for bed bust some of us still spent some time downstairs and heard Christmas songs…
The next morning, some of us prepared a nice breakfast (with yummy pancakes!) for the whole group. After breakfast we had some time left to listen to music again, sing along or play some more games. Before we went back to the bus station, we played table soccer in teams – but the people who played were blind and had to listen to the instructions of their team mates. That wasn´t easy but very funny and we managed to score several goals.
We had a great time and would have liked to stay longer…
AND: yes, we did all that in English! (No German was allowed during the whole trip and that was a quite interesting experience…)
